This is a 1968 corvette convertible, it has been totally restored. It doesn't get driven much at all (3-4 times annually). It has been garage kept since the day it was bought. It has a 427 cubic in motor, with 425 HP. It comes with a hard top and a soft top. It has new tires and new chrome side pipes. It runs great. I am not 100% sure on the mileage. It is in great conditon, but it is used. The car was purchased by my father in 1978 it had been in a minor accident where he repaired the fiberglass. The restoration consisted of scraping the 13 layers of paint from the body and repainting. There are only a couple of scratches on the car. The winshield frame was replaced and the exhaust system replaced twice. All of the numbers match, the engine is original and runs great. The mileage is actually 64322 right now, original. The codes on the door hinge is as follows: chevrolet I25, trim 435, paint 992. My father did all of the workover about 10 years, he also replaced most of the interior, carpeting and some vinyl, and cleaned up the engine, chrome and such. August 15, 2009. |
